AACSR / All aluminum Alloy Conductor Steel Reinforced

AACSR (All aluminum Alloy Conductor Steel Reinforced) is suitable for overhead large span power transmission lines. It is suitable for long-span or heavy ice and snow overhead transmission lines. In the coastal or corrosive climate of the site can choose anti-corrosion type. It is especially suitable for large span, high drop mountain area, river valley and other occasions; Ultra high strength steel cored aluminum alloy stranded wire is a kind of conductor product with special geographical conditions, such as crossing rivers.

Core wire for AACSR is available with class A, B, or C galvanizing; “”aluminized”” aluminum coated (AZ); Or aluminum-clad (AW). Additional corrosion protection is available through the application of grease to the corer or infusion of the complete cable with grease.

AACSR size

AACSR has the characteristics of simple structure, convenient erection and maintenance, low cost, large transmission capacity, and is conducive to laying across rivers and valleys and other special geographical conditions. It has good electrical conductivity and sufficient mechanical strength, high tensile strength, and the distance between tower and pole can be enlarged. Therefore, it is widely used in various voltage levels of overhead transmission and distribution lines.

In the reconstruction of urban and rural lines, the line corridor is narrow, and the steel core reinforced aluminum alloy conductor is selected to increase the distance between poles and towers, so as to ensure the electrical safety of line crossing erection, bridge crossing and highway crossing erection.
